Rent Arrears are a Bitter Pill to Swallow
We make it easy for you
Effective and Rigorous Process for Rent Collection
Pre-action Rent Arrears Letter
This is the cheapest part of the main process and usually the most effective.
For £197 we send a letter to the tenant(s) in the strongest of terms indicating the consequences of non-compliance with their obligations under the tenancy agreement. In most cases we can even track and trace the tenant's new address for you on a no-find, no-fee basis.
Issue Debt Proceedings at Court
We are fully authorised to undertake litigation. For £497 (plus court fees) we can issue a claim at court against a tenant via the small claims process in most cases thereby limiting your exposure to additional costs. Again, in most cases, we can find the whereabouts of the tenant in order to be able to properly serve upon and pursue your claim for rent arrears.
We have vast experience in civil litigation and in particular money claims such as yours i.e. rent arrears debt collection and understand the Civil Procedure Rules, including the best course of action to get a judgment against the defaulting tenant(s).
It is an offence for any individual to issue proceedings in a court on behalf of another unless they have been granted that right by an appropriate regulator. With us, you have a properly regulated, insured and authorised legal representative on your side who can properly and diligently collect the money you are owed.
Note: YOU SHOULD ONLY INSTRUCT A PROPER LAWYER TO GET THIS JOB DONE. THAT'S WHAT YOU GET WITH US FROM DAY ONE AT FIXED FEES AGREED AND STIPULATED WELL IN ADVANCE OF ANY WORK BEING DONE... SO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU STAND.
Enforce Your Judgment - Get Paid!
We know how to maximise the probability that those who owe a legitimiate debt to you end up paying it. And if they don't, we know how to apply to the court to get their employer or bank to pay it or alternatively to consider bankruptcy proceedings. The range of options is quite wide but picking the correct one is the key. We will advise you on this from the very beginning.
Like all other aspects of the process, we keep the fee for this reasonable and fixed in advance. We understand the 'system' and our panel of experts know how to obtain maximum effect in the minimum time.

*Please note that our fees do not include court fees of £355 (payable to the court service, not us) or court attendance/advocacy which is also quoted on a fixed fee basis based on the work involved.
